The National-"Ada"

最近在The National的"Boxer"專輯裡，最著迷的是這一首由Sufjan Stevens鋼琴伴奏的歌曲"Ada"。

不知道為什麼，這首歌讓我想到卜洛克小說裡進出戒酒協會聚會的主角馬修，即使性別不同。還是他的前女友珍呢？

生活時常亂七八糟，叫人迷惘，不過總是要想辦法過下去的，杯中物不是能依賴的東西。

網路上的討論，幾位網友認為這首歌取材自Nabakov的小說《Ada or Ardor: A Family Chronicle》，有人說是Barbara Kingsolve的 《The Poisonwood Bible》，還有人覺得是在描寫社交障礙，讓人有共鳴的歌，就能產生多種詮釋方式。
