The National--"Bloodbuzz Ohio"

這個國家什麼都不缺，真的是什麼五花八門的東西都有，可是就是沒有希望。

日前讀完《希望之國》這本書，書中以小砰為首的一群國中生，因不滿日本當時的教育制度而集體罷課，並隨著網路時代的蓬勃發展創造出多種迥異於傳統思維的商業經營模式，也自己開辦課程，最後還建立了一個城市。除了驚異於村上龍研究的深度和預測未來社會情況的準確性（該小說完成於2000年，書中故事結束的年代則是2010年），也因年少時沒有震聾發聵的事件或自身的智慧來發現完全遵守學校規章和當個好學生都是沒有意義的，感到有些遺憾。我終究沒有獨特到可以脫離體制而生存，擁有的資源也不夠多，目前面臨轉職，除了熟習社會運行規則外，別無他法。

如果有The National團員們的才華，就能毅然決然丟棄工作吧，但他們的歌曲總是透露出讓人無處可逃的不安。

經過漫長的等待，他們終於要發行新專輯了，其中先發佈的曲目之一"Bloodbuzz Ohio"其實在去年的現場表演就已經亮相過，錄音室版本也相當的棒。也許是描寫對愛情、承諾、金錢甚至整個「家鄉」概念的不確定感，始終的流離。
