Elbow--"Red"

昨天重新聽Elbow的首張專輯"Asleep in the Back"，也許不如2008年的"The Seldom Seen Kid"那般優雅精緻，但蟄伏的黑暗和低迷讓這張專輯顯得比較有個性。"Red"緊接在電氣迷離的"Any Day Now"之後，像是墨黑畫面中突然出現的一抹紅，即使其他色彩逐漸顯現，依然讓人無法移開視線。歌詞中"That dust is gonna settle your nerves"的「塵」可能是時間也可能是毒品，美麗終要凋落。
