我聽的第一首Televise的歌，也是少數讓我重複播放數次，依然低迴不已的曲子。

翻譯的時候，對歌詞裡表現的時態不是很確定。讀英文歌詞時常常遇到這樣的難題，判斷情境是過去式還是現在式，說穿了只是自由心證。

不論是過去或現在，一句遲來的抱歉，夠不夠彌補曾經造成的傷害？
我知道答案是否定的，所以只能一遍又一遍的聽著"If I Told You"，任由懊悔隨著樂器聲響層層推疊，與甜蜜又苦澀的白色音牆撞擊後，強忍的淚水終於滴落。
